Dërsnik ((セルビア語:Дрсник), (アルバニア語:Dërsnik or Dërsniku)) is a settlement in the Klina municipality of Kosovo.〔http://www.maplandia.com/serbia-and-montenegro/kosovo/drsnik/〕 During Early Middle Ages, Porphyrogenitus mentions the urban center of ''Desstinik''. There are very important archeological discoveries of Roman period made in August 2013.
Dërsnik had a Serbian majority. In June 1999 the Serbian population fled due to war. The Serbian media reports that several homes have been burned in 2009.〔http://www.b92.net/info/vesti/index.php?yyyy=2009&mm=03&dd=14&nav_category=640&nav_id=350123〕
==Population==
In the 2011 census, the population was 1770.
Previous census figures may not have been accurate. Data for 1991 may not reflect the correct number of Albanians that year, as they largely boycotted that census.
